Case Study

RAMS is a well known name in the Australian finance sector specialising in home loans.

Percept designed the RAMS brand identity and were called upon again to develop the logo for the RAMS National Franchise Conference being held in Queenstown, New Zealand (the first time the event was held outside of Australia).

The theme for the conference was Together Towards Tomorrow with attendees of 66 franchises attending the event as well as RAMS representatives and sponsors.

The conference logo needed to be versatile enough to be used at the venues, on merchandise and throughout digital and print items.

The corporate identity was designed to compliment the RAMS logo and reflect the event location and theme of the conference.

The visual identity represents the focus of the conference by creating a feeling of change, growth, leadership and starting a new journey, all ideas which are communicated through the design.

The logo design is positive and uplifting, capturing the essence of the conference and its theme.

The icon is an upward pointing arrow to reflect growth, positivity and progression. The icon also represents the snow-capped mountains of Queenstown and the shape of three T’s for the conference name. It is complimented by a clean, corporate type solution. Colours have been utilised from the corporate colour palette for brand strength and consistency.

The event logo was easily adapted and rolled out across several items of communication to form the corporate identity of the conference, including print, signage and online.

The identity was embraced by the delegates as memorable and aspirational with a look and feel that enabled RAMS to effectively market and communicate the essence of the conference successfully.
