Case Study

Catalogue Design

The Challenge

After working with Riviana’s Foodservice division for many years on their packaging design and marketing communications, they approached brand designer, Percept, once again, this time for their product catalogue design.

The Solution

Percept is a brand designer in Australia. Having already developed the look and feel for the Foodservice packaging design and creative advertising, Percept approached this product catalogue design project as an extension of these previous briefs. As an expert brand designer, Percept paid particular attention to making it easy to navigate so that their customers could quickly find and order the exact products that they were interested in.

The 60 page catalogue design is set out into colour coded sections, which coincide with the colour-ways used in the packaging design for different product types.

Each section also features photography to represent its contents such as seafood or frozen foods. Then within those sections, products are categorised and displayed in an easy to follow table displaying all necessary information that a chef would need to consider when ordering.

Brand designer, Percept, created an outcome that is a clean, and easy-to-follow catalogue design, helping busy professionals to order their food products in an efficient manner, whilst presenting Riviana as a leader in the foodservice industry.
