A breath of fresh air for Broad Air, working with Percept on their brand refresh and website design.

Case Study

The Challenge

Broad Air design, construct and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services to commercial, residential and industrial sectors in Australia.

With a strong client base, the objective of this brand refresh and website design project was to modernise their online appearance to reflect their offering accurately for potential new business, with a focus on the developers in the top end of the market. The old website, created in 2011, didn’t cut through to this desired target audience. Projects listed on the old website didn’t show the gravitas of work Broad Air is known for, and wanted to show to the new audience.

The Solution

The new website design felt like an opportune time to revamp the logo design. This brand refresh would help elevate the company image to the new desired look and feel. The brand refresh is a contemporary typographic wordmark, subtle breaks in the letters create movement and a visual rhetoric for HVAC.

The new website design is built around the concept of air and simplicity. As modern websites are no longer restricted by rigid layouts – the new website design utilises space to convey air by incorporating free flowing, clean and contemporary layouts.

Soft loading of content adds interest and a visual cue to the concept of air. This modern website design has user experience top of mind – visually engaging with striking product imagery and a refined colour palette to create a premium feel. Soft accents of red and blue (a nod to the hot and cool air) add stand-out to the editorial style pull-quotes and hero statements.
