Unilever Australia asked Sydney digital agency Percept, to create an interactive PDF which showcases their dessert range of food service products by Carte d’Or.
Recent times have seen chefs starting to use tablet devices more often. They take up less space and are easier to clean than paper-based recipe books. As a result, Unilever Food Solutions asked Percept to create this interactive PDF for their dessert brand Carte d’Or which show step by step recipes that feature their products.
Having a history of working with Carte d’Or on many print-based projects, Percept already had a familiarity with the design style of the brand.
Our experience with interactive PDF design also helped us with the functionality required for this project.
The end result is clean in style so as to communicate clearly and allow the user to follow each recipe easily.
Feedback shows that since its launch, usage for Carte d’Or products has increased. The interactive PDF of recipes has done a good job as it must have inspired chefs to create more desserts using the Carte d’Or range.
