The Challenge

Percept developed a new packaging label design for the Knorr brand’s Thai pastes and powders range as part of our ongoing packaging work for Unilever Food Solutions.

The Knorr range of foodservice products aims to help every chef express their talent and passion for regional cuisine to achieve successful dishes that are authentic in taste.

The Solution

Their packaging label design plays a role in helping to achieve their objective by using a key visual for each variant, showing inspirational imagery of a plated dish which heroes the paste or powder used as its base.

Being a global brand, Knorr have a style guide which must be adhered to so that any new packaging label design, although unique, still fits in the extensive family of products found around the world.

This range in particular is for traditional Thai pastes and powders that allow busy chefs to create dishes that taste like they’ve been made from scratch, without having to go to that extra effort in the food preparation stage.

This packaging label design project was completed for Unilever Australia and it is used in foodservice environments throughout Asia.
