Branding Strategy

Brand designers, Percept, helped Bondi Beach Cottage with a branding strategy that enabled them to pin-point how their brand was positioned as a service provider and how it was perceived by the community. The outcome of this branding strategy project is a visual identity and brand voice, befitting of the wonderful service they provide.

Branding Strategy & Visual Identity by Brand Designers, Percept

The Challenge

Bondi Beach Cottage nurtures families, women and children through holistic family services and occasional childcare support.

Realising there was potential to more effectively drive brand awareness and improve connections with their audience, they approached brand designers, Percept, because of Percept’s strength in branding strategy, to help with a full brand revolution.

The Solution

Brand designers, Percept, teamed up with the Bondi Beach Cottage leaders and day to day staff to discover their two business offerings. The goal was to develop a branding strategy that would position them holistically, so they would present as one succinct entity.

Throughout the session Percept’s brand designers helped unearth and discover the core essence of the brand. This then led to a branding strategy, positioning Bondi Beach Cottage as a community that welcomes, nurtures and empowers people along their journey. These foundations were visualised through a soft tonal palette, friendly typography and bespoke illustration sets that were appropriate for the the feel of the organisation which was also uncovered as part of the branding strategy phase.

Percept is a team of brand designers that specialise in brand identity. Brand identity is of course the visual assets that form the look of the brand, but the feel is also developed through careful copywriting that is in keeping with the persona of the decided branding strategy. To execute this element of their branding, the brand designers of Percept also crafted a relatable tone of voice (TOV) that worked for both sectors of the business, marrying up with the visual identity, whilst staying true to the overall branding strategy.
