Unilever Australia asked digital design agency Sydney, Percept, to create an interactive PDF design which showcases their dessert range of food service products by Carte d’Or.
Percept is a design agency Sydney who have worked with Unilever Australia for almost 20 years. Recent times have seen chefs starting to use tablet devices more often. They take up less space and are easier to clean than paper-based recipe books. As a result, Unilever Food Solutions asked digital design agency, Percept, to create this interactive PDF design for their dessert brand Carte d’Or which show step by step recipes that feature their products.
The interactive PDF design would be used by the Unilever food solutions sales team, and their customers, professional chefs in Australia.
Having a history of working with Carte d’Or on many print-based projects, design agency, Percept, already had a familiarity with the design style of their branding. Percept also have experience as a digital design agency, with expertise in interactive PDF design which made us the perfect fit considering the functionality required for this digital design project.
The end result of this interactive PDF design is clean in style so as to communicate clearly and allow the user to follow each recipe easily.
Feedback provided to Sydney design agency, Percept, shows that since its launch, usage for Carte d’Or products has increased. The interactive PDF design full of recipes has done a good job as it must have inspired chefs to create more desserts using the Carte d’Or range.
