Case Study

Branding by Percept Brand Design

The Challenge

Having developed the original brand design in 2011, Percept – Brand Design’s government branding experience saw us reappointed to refresh the look and feel of the brand design for the 2019 awards and beyond.

Each year, the NSW Government hold their Premier’s Awards to recognise outstanding achievement within the public sector. In need of an update of the brand design for the awards, Percept were once again selected as the chosen branding agency from the NSW Government preferred suppliers panel.

The Solution

After running a branding workshop, Percept – Brand Design, developed a strategic platform, along with an engaging, uplifting tone of voice.

We created a clear messaging framework that actively looks to recognise excellence and celebrate achievements in the public sector. Raising awareness, encouraging nominations, and empowering teams to push forward and aim higher.

Percept delivered a new brand design that uses the Waratah motif, aligning with the NSW Government co-partnership branding guidelines. The brand design system around it is extending on the idea of ‘celebrating excellence’.

Building on the dynamic trophy-like elements of the previous branding, we reshaped them to more closely reflect the NSW map, visually tying the achievements we are celebrating to the state of NSW.

The new brand design is to be rolled out across printed communication collateral, event signage, website design and development as well as social media assets.

Percept is a branding specialist with all the expertise required to help you with your brand design project.
