The Challenge

With a love for making and sharing delicious, wholesome, home-made food, Six Smith is a company from the Sutherland Shire area in Sydney, who approached branding consultant, Percept, to help bring that passion to life in a full branding program with a boutique feel.

Needing to create branding that would resonate with a varied target audience, including people who enjoy eating homemade fresh food and care about where their food originates from, branding consultant, Percept, designed a branding program that encapsulates everything that Six Smith is about.

The Solution

Percept is a branding consultant, with three decades of branding experience. Percept’s specialist brand designers began with a hand crafted logo which delivers a boutique, rustic, fresh and seasonal feel. The apple and whisk within the logo combine to form a classic apple shape and an artisan ‘from the farm’ feel.

Once the base for the branding look and feel had been established with the logo design, Percept rolled out the brand design to include stationery, packaging, apparel and market stall signage. A quirky illustration style runs through all elements of the Six Smith branding, adding to the hand-made feel, whilst giving the brand a personality like no other.

Incorporating a photography shoot to capture the essence of Six Smith was also an important part of the project so they could share with their audience, via social media, their passion and loves whilst showcasing the delicious products on offer in a professional manner that is unique to their style.

As an ongoing client, Six Smith continue to work with branding consultant, Percept, adding to their branding story with every new project, which has also extended to packaging design, communication design and digital design.
