Brand Designers, Percept, Develop Branding for Halal Money, a Finance App for Those of Islamic Faith

Discovery

Brand designers, Percept, were selected for the branding of Halal Money, a startup App backed by Hejaz; a significant player in the financial sector.

This agency-client partnership began with an exploratory brand workshop session that tapped into the stakeholders knowledge of their world. The discoveries were in-depth findings of market dynamics, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes. Additionally, there were many learnings around faith and religion that were important to understand in order to get the branding right for the target demographic.

This collaboration of awareness and understanding between brand designers, Percept, and the client, aimed to shape the essence of Halal Money’s branding, through the development of a well-informed strategic brand positioning.

Key branding pillars and messaging frameworks were developed to resonate with Halal Money’s audience while aligning with their business objectives. This not only laid a robust foundation for the Halal Money branding, but also positioned them as a force in the competitive financial landscape, aimed squarely at those of Islamic faith.

With a forward-thinking client eager to define the branding strategy, a clear structure was employed by brand designers, Percept, to illuminate the path forward. Through interactive workshops, both teams navigated through the intricacies of Halal Money’s brand story, defining its core values, brand propositions, and future aspirations.

The branding strategy was a process characterised by a series of strategic pillars, each contributing to a deliberate brand framework. At its core, the purpose of the branding was to distil Halal’s essence into a compelling brand identity that would resonate authentically with its target audience. This involved a meticulous examination of Halal Money’s USP, to then explore avenues for differentiation and distinction within the market.

Authenticity emerged as a cornerstone, with our brand designers focussing on aligning Halal Money’s brand narrative with innovative solutions that would set them apart in a crowded financial services environment.

Percept’s brand designers developed a colour palette that is modern and bold, to captivate the attention of the emerging affluent. Vibrant neons inject energy and dynamism, while contrasting with a trustworthy navy and crisp whites.

In digital branding, an animated pixel gradient emerges from the identity design, symbolising a continuous trajectory of growth. This dynamic element evokes a sense of progress, mirroring our unwavering dedication to innovation and evolution.

Photography is also contemporary and progressive, showcasing individuals who embody the spirit of this forward-thinking brand. These portraits are carefully curated within block module devices, creating a cohesive visual language that unifies the branding.
