Parallax website design for Summer Salt Restaurant in the Sutherland Shire, south of Sydney by branding agency, Percept.

Case Study

Parallax Website Design and Branding by Percept

After designing their branding and previous website, Summer Salt Restaurant in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, again engaged branding agency, Percept, for their new parallax website design.

In an effort to remain fresh and ahead of their competitors, Summer Salt knew that after four years, it was time to redesign the website for their restaurant with a fresh and contemporary look in the form of a parallax website design.

The new parallax website design that branding specialists, Percept, created does justice to the Summer Salt Restaurant experience, that is famous for fabulous Cronulla beach views, top level service and exquisite modern Australian food.

Full screen imagery is used in this parallax website design to show off the spectacular beachfront location this leading Sydney restaurant enjoys.

Each page dynamically integrates with the next, making the navigation of the parallax website design an experience in itself.

To ensure the focus was on the food, a professional photo shoot was organised with Darlene Andrews, with art direction from the Percept branding agency. This allowed the well-presented food shots to remain the hero throughout the site.

When you move through the menu, the images change, and as you progress through the meal, the table cloth even gets messy with a few drips and spills as you enjoy the amazing food and beverages on offer, almost like you are actually there!

This parallax website design allows a variety of elements to float on different layers and how they interact with each other is an experience you have to try for yourself as it will change your expectations of what a high quality website design actually is.

If you are interested in branding and parallax website design, Percept would be a great fit for your needs.
