Unilever Australia asked the packaging designers of Percept, packaging design agencies Sydney, to update the look of their packaging design for the Knorr Thai foodservice range.

Packaging designers, Percept, in Sydney, developed new packaging design for the Knorr brand’s Thai pastes and powders range as part of ongoing packaging design work for Unilever Food Solutions Australia.
The Knorr range of food service products aims to help every chef express their talent and passion for regional cuisine to achieve successful dishes that are authentic in taste. So to get the packaging design right was important for this global company.
Their packaging design plays a role in helping to achieve their objective by using a key visual for each variant, showing inspirational imagery of a plated dish which heroes the paste or powder used as its base.
Being a global brand, Knorr have a style guide which must be adhered to so that any new packaging design, although unique, still fits in the extensive family of products found around the world.
This range in particular is for traditional Thai pastes and powders that allow busy chefs to create dishes that taste like they’ve been made from scratch, without having to go to that extra effort in the food preparation stage.
This packaging design project was completed for Unilever Australia and it is used in foodservice environments throughout Asia.
