Package Design for Unilever Laundry Products by Packaging Company, Percept

The Challenge

Owned by Unilever, Omo and Surf are leading brands of laundry products in Australia and New Zealand, known for their varied fragrances and for serving a purpose of being affordable to everyday households.

Unilever engaged packaging company, Percept, as part of a competitive tender process for design agencies specialising in package design. Percept were then selected from that list of design agencies to help extend various laundry liquid collections to new fragrances and sizes of package design.

The package design needed to adapted from existing creative, then applied to new dielines, whilst maintaining the existing branding that is already trusted by millions of consumers.

The Solution

Packaging company, Percept, worked closely with the Unilever product team. Percept then developed a suite of reputable and appealing package design for the product ranges, while staying true to the core of the branding.

As a package design specialist, Percept, elevated and refined key aspects of the package design to better suit the new dielines. Bespoke messaging graphics were also created to house the new call outs and claims specific to each product.

Percept is a packaging company that focuses on positive commercial outcomes. The result was the delivery of a cohesive suite of package design adaptions that were compliant with international brand guidelines and print production requirements.
