The Challenge

Fertile Mind is an established Australian maternity and baby product wholesale distribution company. They approached Percept for a premium and unique brand and packaging design for the Newbie Love baby carrier.

Newbie Love is the first innovative baby carrier product made under the Fertile Mind brand. This new product addresses a gap in the market, offering a ‘soft’ baby carrier with neck support and breathable mesh fabric.

The Solution

The brand and packaging design needed to reflect the Newbie Love as the experts in the baby-carrying space as well as having a desirable aesthetic appeal to expecting parents.

Following visual cues from the new Hug-a-Bub packaging, the logo and packaging reinforces that this product is part of the same family.

The modern, playful logo design captures the joy that bubbles over at this exciting time in a parent’s life. A silver foil for the logo and tagline, adds a beautiful, tactile premium feel.

The packaging design is engaging, clean and modern. A restrained, modern colour palette has been used, allowing the supporting packaging design to bring it to life.

The pack creates a strong retail presence that positions Newbie Love as a premium and contemporary product in the baby carrier category.
