Popular skincare brand, Forlisa, engaged Australian branding agency, Percept for the spacial design of their retail stores throughout China.
Aulida Cosmetics is ranked number five in China for their Forlisa skincare ranges. Made in Australia and exported to China, the products use natural Australian ingredients in their Adult, Baby and Mothercare ranges.
The spacial design task was to develop a new retail store design in China which would be used for all their outlets throughout the Chinese market.
Forlisa is luxurious and trustworthy, with premium skincare and beauty products made from safe and natural ingredients. As their Australian branding agency, Percept, tried to encapsulate this feeling into a practical aesthetic. We created a retail store design for China that was an embodiment of the Australian branding in order to appeal to the market.
Custom built tree-like shelving systems play a central role in the fit-out of the stores. This creates a bespoke focal point for hero products to be displayed.
Careful thought was given to the flow of the spacial design in the retail stores, considering the practicalities of the customer journey. However, in all instances, the Chinese retail store design provides a gallery environment with a boutique feel that allows the products to be on display.
The result is a clean and sophisticated spacial design. It allows discerning consumers to browse the offerings and consider purchasing the beauty products that appeal to them.
