Aulida Cosmetics is ranked number five in China for their Forlisa skincare ranges. Made in Australia and exported to China, the products use natural Australian ingredients in their Adult, Baby and Mothercare ranges. Australian branding agency Sydney, Percept, were engaged to reposition their branding, create new packaging design for their products and develop a new retail store design in China which would be used for all their outlets throughout the country.
Forlisa is luxurious and trustworthy, with premium products made from safe and natural ingredients. As their Australian branding agency Sydney, Percept, tried to encapsulate this feeling into a practical aesthetic, creating a retail store design for China that was an embodiment of the Australian branding.
Percept Brand Design used warm timbers and mood lighting to enhance the natural feel, because natural ingredients are at the core of Forlisa’s brand values.
Custom built tree-like shelving systems play a central role in the fit-out, creating a bespoke focal point for hero products to be displayed.
Careful thought was given to the flow of the stores, considering the practicalities of the customer journey. However, in all instances, the Chinese retail store design provides a gallery environment with a boutique feel that allows the products to be on display. Discerning consumers can browse the offerings and consider purchasing the Forlisa products that appeal to them.
